News from the Nov. 8, 2021, board meeting:
• Pickleball Courts:
The President reported that the planned pickleball courts are now to be relocated to Holland Park per information received from the City.
• City Maintenance Building Closure:
The President reported that the City plans to close the maintenance facility off of Pymbroke and relocate its operations to Eller Road. The existing facility will be used by the City for storage.
• On-Street Overnight Parking:
It has been reported that the City is going to start tagging and removing vehicles parked on the public streets throughout River Glen and River Ridge.
• 5 G Towers: The President reported that Verizon now plans to put 6 5G towers in River Glen – River Glen at Old Stone (freestanding pole), River Glen at Clubhouse (on acorn lamppost), Halla (carriage style lamppost), and 2 on Koldyke (carriage style lampposts). Verizon also plans 3 towers in River Ridge but the residents of River Ridge are in dispute over the locations for these towers.
